Sorry it has been long overdue. Tim was gone for 5 weeks then home 1 1/2 weeks and then gone for 2 weeks so really about 2 months. I was a bit busier than normal and honestly with him gone I didn't feel like updating the blog it made me miss him more. Okay, I know that's only half of the amount of time since the last update. The other 2 months I have no excuse for. Oh and the order of pictures is newest to oldest I meant to do it the other way but they loaded backwards so backwards it is!

After Tim got back from the second trip we took 4 days just us as a family and went to the beach and had a wonderful time as a family.
Our Sand Castle - Really it's Mommy's sand castle everyone else left me and went and played in the water so I had to finish it.
Good ol' Paige loves the cold. It never bothers her. No way would you catch me in a swimsuit and in the water when it's not above 80 degrees!
After we got there we realized this was Nixon first time to play at the beach and he loved it.
Simon loved being in the water.
We did put sweatshirts on one day.
Grandma Pat came and stayed with us a week during the first 5 weeks Tim was gone and then the last 2 weeks she stayed the whole 2 weeks with us. Thank you Grandma Pat what a huge blessing and help you are to us! We love you. She spent Mother's Day with us so Her and I and the kids went out to dinner.
Nixon turned 3 in April and Paige turned 9 in May

to a movie and the cupcake shop.
Nixon took a soccer class with his cousin Nolan this spring.
The boys were so cute together in the class.
The first 5 weeks Tim was gone was to the Chief Petty Officer Academy.
Mom and Larry came and stayed with the kids so I could go to his
Graduation ceremony and dinner.
I flew down and we took 3 days to drive back and brought our good buddy Wayne home with
us who is moving here this summer. We stopped for one night in Eureka and got to get a quick visit in with some of our friends we miss so much there.

We of course stopped at our favorite burger joint ever! Mike's. Some friends from our old church Frank and Sherry own it so we got to see them and James and enjoy the very much missed burger and fries!

The last stop before reaching home was to stop and get
a quick visit in with my Grandparents!

Unfortuanly this year was no where near normal. Tim was gone
so we did make chex mix and mail it to him. Simon had the flu so this
picture was actually taken 3 days late since Simon was the sickest he
has ever been I wasn't going to make him get dressed up and sit up for
a picture. So we mailed the chex mix and celebrated 3 days late without Daddy.
But we did it in honor of Daddy.
Okay that brings us up to date and now I can get back on track and update more often!! Only 1 month til summer break! Hope you have all enjoyed Spring!
