Paige Visit

Paige and Josh came for a visit in mid-July.  We love every minute we get to spend with Paige.

We didn't venture out too much due to the Virus but we did go to Georgetown in D.C. and look at the stairs where Exorcist was filmed and also to Luray Caverns while they were here.

Reading about the stairs where Exorcist was filmed.

We walked around the block

Luray Caverns

Paige and Piper

We actually did a smaller puzzle while she was here.

I love seeing all my kids together!!

Paige and Tucker, snuggle time!

Our girl!

Paige and her proud Dad!
She won a $2000 scholarship from The Coast Guard Foundation.
They asked for a picture of her and her Dad.

June to early July 2020

Beginning of Summer 2020

Tucker accepts the fire pit since it's now not fireplace season.

26th Anniversary!

We decided to get fishing licenses this year.
Tim found a couple great spots within 15-20 mins of our house!

I love this picture of Simon.
He was weed-eating the yard.  It's actually taken through the screen on our window.

Tim and Simon enjoying a morning out fishing and getting some fresh air!

Nixon opening his birthday card from Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandma has a habit of sometimes sending cards late hence it being in the summer photos!
We love you Grandma/Mom! :)

Evening fishing with Nixon

Caught my first one!
He was cute and had pretty colors but the picture doesn't show it well.

Decided he likes the long hair

Then he went back to shorter

He actually cut it shorter to go apply for jobs for the first time!

Father's Day 2020

We spent part of the day fishing at a couple spots.
The guys getting their hooks ready and baited.

Then Simon grilled burgers for Dad for dinner!
It was a great day

Well, guess I am stuck!

Oh to be a cat!

Tim snapped this beautiful pic one morning.

4th of July 2020

We stayed home this year and wow was it worth it.  We didn't realize that someone in our neighborhood puts on a huge show each year.  Yes, they are illegal, and not sure how they never get caught but it was like a professional show right over us!  Guess we will be staying home from now on for this show!

Spring 2020

Mid-March right as we went on Spring Break the Pandemic hit and everything shutdown.  My boys never went back to school for the rest of the year (6 months actually).  Paige's University switched to Virtual. Tim started working from home. My office closed for a couple months and then changed to a COVID schedule with limited people in the office at one time.

Like most of us, Paige couldn't find TP where she was.  Mom to the rescue!  Mailed her part of what we had.

Many months of empty shelves!

Piper wishing Tucker would let her have some of the heat!

Nixon napping with his kitties

Went for a walk.  We were starting to go stir crazy.  Little did we know how long everything would be shutdown.

My work closed for a couple months. One of my co-worker's family members hired us to make 1500 masks.

I was on the cutting team.  This was cutting out the material for the different parts of the masks.  Later I switched to making the straps for the masks.

One of Tim's view from working at home!  Gotta love Tucker!

This was my second station making straps from the cut fabric.

Just a few LOL

When the Pandemic hit Tim was in a Statistics Class for his Bachelor's degree.  It was not fun, to say the least.  With how his work changed and all the chaos the pandemic brought it was a bit overwhelming.  I sat with him for the entire time to help him get through it.  Needless to say, we both hate Statistics!

First set of masks.  Everyone here pretty much started wearing them all the time in April, before they were mandated.

This was my 3rd work station. For this set of straps, all I had to do was cut them.  Much much faster!

Not sure if she is my helper or quietly planning her attack!

Easter 2020

Nixon turned 14!!!

He woke up to this!

Quarantine Birthday!
It took me a long time to find the lemon cake mix.  Apparently, lemon cake is popular during a lockdown pandemic.

Thanks to 2020 only half his gift showed up on time. A gaming computer. The computer itself didn't show up for a month.  Creates more excitement right?

I can't believe my baby is 14.

I love watching them work together.  Simon was helping him put together his monitor.

COVID facial hair!  Could get away with it until the video calls started LOL!

Paige turned 20!!
Okay, now I can't believe our girl is 20, Crazy!

Mother's Day 2020

The boys getting some fresh air!
Simon drove them over to the High School so they could skateboard around the parking lot.

Quarantine hair

I have to admit I am not a puzzle person, normally I don't like doing them.  Tim bought one for us to do just to get our minds off everything.  It took us a while but we did it!  It was actually nice to just walk in do a couple pieces, leave and come back later.

What the last day of school 2020 looks like.
This is the 8th-grade graduation virtual picnic. Nixon was voted most likely to make it to Mars.
Poor 8th graders never got to step foot in the school again, see/say goodbye to their teachers, or their friends that ended up at different Highschools.
