Well it is once again that time of year where one of the biggest days of the year for the Crothers household is here! April 2nd was opening day of baseball for the Seattle Mariners! I always make a huge batch of chex mix (4 this year). Simon helped me make it all this time. The kids all got on their Mariners shirts and as soon as Daddy got home we all sat down to watch the game. This was Nixon's first time around chex mix and boy did Tim have a fight on his hands. Nixon kept pulling as hard as he could and doing a screeching sound (translated to give me chex mix now!). I can see that as the kiddies grow up 4 batches isn't going to cover it once the two boys get the same appetite as their Dad!
Also another big event happend. Nixon started walking about 4 or 5 days ago. He is amazing us. He had been taking a couple steps at a time for a few weeks then one day he just stood up and walked. That was it he is all over the place now and choosing walking over crawling. I thought he would drop and crawl when he really wants to get to something but nope he would rather walk it. He is our earliest walker! I can't believe he will be one this month.
