VBS

We had VBS last week at church and boy was it fun. It was from 6:30-8:30 every night Sunday through Thursday. Tim and I taught a 2nd grade class so Paige was in our class. I should say Tim taught it and I helped. The theme was great a Hawaiian Luau Tiki theme called Outrigger Island, living Gods unshakable truth. We all had a blast. It was good timing too to keep us busy with it being our frist week with out Masha.

VBS starts for kids age 3 but for the workers with young ones they had childcare and they actually followed the cirriculum and did lessons and art projects.

They end the week with a huge carnival. This is only half the parking lot.


Here is part of the otherside plus there were more in the middle. Lots of fun food and things to jump on!

Praise the Lord it was a good week and the kids learned a lot in their classes and we were all blessed by it.

As a side note we got a phone call from Masha and her Mom on Saturday morning. They have an English speaking neighbor who translated for us. She is doing good and really misses the kids. Her Mom said she is very thankful for the medical screening we took her to and for all the things we sent home and she said most of all our friendship. They are trying to get internet so hopefully we can email soon. It was really nice to hear Masha's voice and I now feel a strong bond with her Mom.
