Simon's 8th Birthday and other Fun!

SIMON TURNS 8!!

Well our boy turned 8! I can not believe our first son is 8. He is growing up to be such a sweet young man. We celebrated on his actual birthday night at a Mexican restaurant with his Grandparents and Great Grandparents. Simon was totally surprised when the waiters came out and put a sombrero on his head and sang Happy Birthday to him in Spanish then in English. Then the next day we had a fun time at a roller skating party for him. He loved it and kept telling us this was the best birthday ever. He was so appreciative of the fun roller skating and his friends and family coming. Not to mentioned he loved every gift he got. Thank you all who helped us celebrate Simon! Here are some fun pictures!

The Birthday Boy!

He loves Roller Skating! Isn't he cute? Such a little image of his Dad!

Party time. Poor Nixon wasn't feeling well. Half way through the party he started crying his ear hurt. After the party was over I rushed him to the doctors and he had an ear infection. But thanks to meds he was pain free the next day!

Blowing out his candles! He had a Transformers cake with a real mask on it!

His cousins and friends helped us celebrate!

Opening gifts, always fun!

Paige and her best friend. Simon was so sweet all on his own he invited Mackenzie to his party.

My Grandparents came for the fun. It is always so nice to get to visit with them!

Simon is maturing so fast and we are proud of the young man he is growing into. He was so sweet he knew his little brother wasn't feeling well and they both have been asking for these new toys called mighty beans. Simon got some for his birthday and when we got home from the doctors Simon gave Nixon some of his mighty beans he had gotten. On a side note Nixon has carried that thing around with him for 2 days now day and night. Oh yes it has been to bed with him. It sits by him whatever he is doing. Then Paige was also having a rough time not feeling well and he gave her one of the puffles he got. A puffle goes to club penguin. Such a sweet boy sharing the gifts he got with his brother and sissy who weren't feeling well. He really is a giver. He always thinks of others first.

Some other fun times recently.......

Multicultural Night at the kids' school

Simon and Dad by Simon's art project he did for the night.

Paige and Mom by her project. She drew the picture that is by her head.

At the end of the night they drew one name to win a $25 gift card to World Market and Paige won. She turned so red and was so shocked when they called her name. It was cute to watch her process it all.

Remlinger Farm Preschool Field trip for Nixon's class

Getting ready to go in and tour all the fun things!

Our little Farmer, as Grandpa would say.

Riding the Train!!

Our little Pumpkin.
It was a fun trip. We got to go on a tour of an old village, sing songs in the theater, get a lesson from a bee keeper, go on a hay trampoline and go through a hay maze, and ride the train. And of course at the end we got to pick out a pumpkin to take home.

I will post again soon. We are going to get our pumpkins this week then it's Halloween!
