Mother's Day and other fun things

I had a great Mother's Day (a day early) and the actual Mother's day was nice too except I missed my hubby!  Tim left to GTMO the Saturday night before Mother's Day for the week.

Paige and Tim made me breakfast in bed!  She was so cute!  That is Paige's favorite thing to do for Mother's Day and when she found out Tim was leaving the night before she was so bummed because she needed his help so they decided to do Mother's Day the day before!  It was just a nice relaxing day nothing scheduled and Tim's flight was a red eye so we had the whole day and evening together.

Paige gave me a huge awesome card and the boys made me a hat and a rainbow and some other cute things out of paper.  They also gave me a starbucks gift card and water cup with straws for the hot weather in GTMO.  Tim gave me an Olive Garden gift card so we could eat out while he was gone and not have to cook.  So sweet and thoughtful!
On actual Mother's Day we went up to Tim's brother and family's house for lunch and the kids played all afternoon in the sprinkler.  Her Mother and Brother and Sister in Law and their two kids were there too.  It was a nice relaxing afternoon!  Thanks guys for including me!

A visit with Uncle Arnie and Tom

We went to Portland Sunday to get a quick visit in with my Grandpa's brother.  He lives in LA and I don't get to see him much and missed him the last time he was up.  He is the little one sitting next to my Grandpa in the pictures when he was a child.  With moving to Cuba for a couple years and not knowing when I might go through LA again we wanted to make sure we got to see him and visit and get hugs in while he was here.  It was nice to go to lunch and back to the house and just sit and visit for a bit.  Uncle Arnie I love you so very much!

And of course we got to visit with Grammy also!!!  We love you so much Grammy!

 Nixon's Free Water

The first warm day we had here in Renton Nixon decided people were probably hot and needed water.  He said he didn't think I would let him charge money for it so he made it free.  He did actually give one cup away and made a $2 donation from it from our sweet next door neighbor.

He was so cute and determined.

Thanks for checking out our blog.  Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend.  Tim and I are in our good friends wedding this weekend.  Soon to be Mr. Wayne and Elisa Long!!!!  And a Happy Birthday to my Dad!
