Christmas and current to May

Tim did the last post and forgot Christmas.  I only have a some on my computer but will put them on here.  We had a wonderful Christmas.  Tim's parents came and stayed almost a month with us and we had a great time. Oh my goodness we are in the states right now and wow the internet is so fast these all just uploaded in less than 2 mins in GTMO it would take me probably a couple hours, no joking.  We are in the states getting our house lined up, a second car and toured the kids's schools for next year.  We fly back to GTMO in the morning for 6 more weeks then back to the world of real internet.

I had to pull over and take a picture of the moon one night.  It was gorgeous!!

Paige got inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.  We are so proud of her she works hard to maintain good grades.  She has been 4.0 the last 2 quarters.

Simon participated in a drama performance for Women's History Month.  He did a great job and memorized all his lines.

No snow in GTMO but the kids all go box sledding.  It's a favorite pastime here in GTMO.

Paige just turned 14!!!!! We don't have any of our stuff with our move coming up, we have already been packed out since April 7th.  So I rented a townhouse for one night and took her friends there for a sleep over.  It was nice to have real furniture for a night LOL.

Disney's Imagination Mover's came to GTMO and put on a good show for the kids.  Nixon is one of the kids right up against the stage.  We even flew out with them on the plane when we came up here for this week.  Nixon was excited that one of them sat behind him on the flight and said hi to him.

This is the boardwalk in Beaufort, NC the little waterfront town we are moving to.  It has a bunch of cute little shops.

This is a huge fishing pier that goes out into the ocean.  This one is in Atlantic Beach not too far from Tim's work.

Our neighborhood has a club house and pool and two fishing piers just for the residents.  This is one of the piers.  It goes way out to a river.  So we can just walk out and go fishing!!

It goes pretty far our and is a nice walk.

It even has a fish cleaning table at the end.

Well that brings us current.  Wow that was so fast to upload.  When I move back to the states I will keep this up better.  Nobody ever truly believes us how slow the internet is in GTMO. Now that we have been back in the states it really is amazing how slow the internet is there.  Glad I only have to deal with it 6 more weeks LOL.
