Nixon and Cub Scouts

Nixon joined Cub Scouts this year and will bump to Boy Scouts in the spring.  Here are some fun things and accomplishments he has gotten to do.

Yes he has paint on his face.  It was part of the initiation he had to walk through the younger troops while they put paint on his face.

First camp trip! Just him and Dad went and had a blast.

They had all kinds of things for them to do this was the egg drop race he won.

Nixon got picked to start the evening fire.

Earned a couple more badges and pins.

They built rockets as a project.

Camp trip #2 was the Spookeree which is for the whole eastern side of Tennessee council.  It was a Halloween themed weekend.  Pretty cool with Haunted House, Hay ride, Haunted trail, Pirate ship and more.   Then the next day was the events.  This one the whole family got to go.

This was the Haunted House. Looked better at night it has a bunch of blowups too.  It was actually a pretty good one!

Well that brings you up to date on Nixon for a bit.   My app quit working on my phone so I am way behind and have to do the posts on my lap top!  I will get some more done in the next couple days to bring the blog up to date!
