More June Fun

Paige went on her week long trip to D.C. for the Washington Youth Tour 2017.  She had a blast and it was a wonderful experience for her!  Here are a few pictures that the Chaperones uploaded for families to see what their kids were doing on their trip.

I loved this picture!  It's like a glimpse into the future. She just looks so grown up and businesslike. This was the day they met their Senators and Representatives.

And she's back!  She was so tired. She said they got 4 hours sleep each night and only 1 hour the last night.

Here are some things we had going on while she was gone on her trip.

Simon did a week long instrumental band camp.

We volunteered at one of our VBS opportunities for our church.  This one was for 2 days in a families front yard. The boys helped set up the decorations.

My Mom's cousin, Marilyn came for a two-day visit.  She lives in Southern CA and came out to Nashville for a wedding so we went over and picked her and brought her to our place for 2 days.  It was a great visit and nice to be with some family. I really enjoyed my time with her!

After Paige got home we went and toured the Historic Mallory-Neely House in Memphis.

I love touring old historic homes!

Happy Father's day

Tim had a great Father's Day

We got 2 visits in with our friends from GTMO, the Seefeldt Family.  We were their half way point on a trip they were on. So we saw them on their way and on their way home. They were our neighbors attached to us our first year in GTMO.  Probably the best neighbors we have ever had. They transferred the year before we did so it had been 4 years and 2 moves for both of us.  Needless to say, all the kids are quite a bit bigger!  Thanks guys for squeezing us in twice!
