July and August 2019

4th of July we went to Quantico to watch their display.

Eisenhower Executive Office Building.  It's right next to the White House and not sure why but this is my favorite building.  I love the architecture of it.

Finally got Tim back to Gus' Fried Chicken for his birthday!! Simon's idea! This is in Baltimore.

The three of us went and checked out Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

And just like that summer was over!  Band Camp started at the end of July for Simon.

First day of school 2019-2020. Nixon 8th, Simon 11th.
 School started Aug 12 this year.  We got shorted 3 weeks of summer break.  They usually start in Sept. here but changed it this year.

This guy cracks us up!  Every time we go to Target he asks for these plastic containers to put candy in.  One time we gave in and got him one.  Now he asks for another every time we go.  We turned around and Tim and I started laughing.  Simon was filling the cart up with all the containers on the shelf.

Oh Yeah, it's Marching Season Folks!!

This was family and friends night. The week before the first game they do the show for just family and friends.

This year they brought us out on the field and had the students teach us how to hold the instruments and also how to march.

It was fun and there were lots of laughs!  These kids work harder than most people know!

They have a blast together.

So much fun!

Sinon got braces!  His are the Invisalign so really they are not that noticeable! But don't be fooled he has to switch to a new pair once a week and boy the first day is no fun!  Later we will add in rubber bands.

We finally made it to the D.C. Zoo!

What is that you say?  Yep, Elephant Poop!  Extreme Poop LOL!

Paige also started classes at the end of August.  She is doing good and made the Dean's List again.  She is still taking a heavy load and majoring in English Lit and minoring in Journalism.  She started a new job in June for a car dealership in their call center in Memphis.  She really enjoys it and works with some very nice people.  So she is busy busy going from classes to work each day.
