Nixon's First Birthday

Nixon turned one on April 21. He had a great time eating cake and opening presents. After his first taste of frosting he said, "MMMM MMMM" and continued to do that after every bite. He was covered with frosting by the time he was done. I made him a baseball cake and forgot that red and white frosting mixed by baby hands turns pink. So he was pink by the time he was done. You would think I would have learned I did the exact same thing to Simon. Paige however, her first cake a friend made for her and it was blue. Go figure, they will tease me I am sure one day when they are all grown. Or end up in counseling wondering why their cakes were boy and girl colors! Here are some pictures of Nixon on his big day.
