First Phase of Trip across country...

We started out our journey saying "See You Laters," as I like to say, to family and friends.  I have to thank all of our family and friends for such wonderful send offs.  So many thoughtful things you have all done for us from giving us a place to lay our heads at night to making us meals to giving us snack bags for in the car. All starting from while we were still in Renton.  I have to admit as crazy as it sounds as a mother with 3 kids I didn't even once think about packing nor did I pack snacks for the trip.  So we were all pleasantly surprised and very thankful for all the wonderful snacks we have been given for the road.  Thank you to my Grammy and all the family that came out to her house for dinner to see us off.  It was a work night for most and you all still took the time to come out and see us and even Uncle Dick and Auntie Laura who traveled hours to stay two nights there to see us.  Thank you so much.  Paige mentioned how big and wonderful our families are and it has made a huge impression on her to get to see all our family within such a close time period.  We are now in Prineville Oregon visiting my (Angie's) Mom.  This is the last place til we hit Florida that we have family to be with.  Tomorrow we will be off to Reno then Vegas where I should be able to post with again with internet in about a week.  Seriously you all have made us feel so blessed and thankful!  Now I will stop getting teared up and finish this post with some fun pictures!

Grandma Kathi and Grandpa Mark.  Funny story.... within 15 mins of this picture Our wonderful picnic that Grandma made us and we set up in the nice sunshine....huge storm blew in crazy fast really hard winds and everything went flying and cold heavy rain came down.  We grabbed what we could and threw it in the bags and went back to their house to finish our lunch.  We were all laughing at how out of nowhere it came.

I will post more in about a week!  Oh and we have already had our first ER visit in Yakima so we didn't make it very far before that!  Simon got bronchitis.  Wanna make bets where the next ER visit happens?????  We always manage to end up at ER's when we are on vacation.  If you ever need one we can probably tell you where one is LOL.  Actually we are praying Nixon doesn't get sick since Paige was on meds before we left then Simon.
