Reno and Las Vegas

We stopped in Reno for one night and Vegas for 5.  We got lots of fun swim time in and saw tons of neat things and lights lights lights!  We spent the 4th of July in Vegas and saw the pirate show at TI and the Volcano for our forth of July Show!  They actually don't do fireworks on the strip on the 4th they do it the following weekend but once we got on the road back to our place we saw fireworks even some out off our deck when we got back.  The Venetian had a cool 4th of July decor out which was nice to see.

Before I get to the pictures here are two that are tips for those of you who have more than 2 kids, say 3 like we do.....
How to sleep 5 people in a room with only 2 beds
Especially when your kids are too big to fit in with you...

If in a room that has 2 chairs....  Take youngest shortest child and push them together and request extra pillow and blanket.  Waalaa instant bed!

If in a room with 3 chairs... take tallest oldest child (who didn't want to sleep with brother anyways) grab pillow and extra blanket off one of the beds and Waalaa another instant bed!  Plus they are all young and think it's fun.  Oh to be young again I look at it and think ouch back ache LOL!

Ok here are some fun pictures....
Reno at the Peppermill, one of our favorite pools you can hear music under the water!

Paige and I playing our favorite game ever Deadstorm Pirates!  We played it here first a few years ago then at gameworks in Seattle now here again.  Oh yes we have beaten the game a couple times!  The boys were next to us on a virtual roller coaster!

We had a beautiful room!  Very Elegant, they have remodeled the whole place with a Tuscan Theme.  We have stayed here at least 3 times I think over the years.

Las Vegas...

The first night we got here we took the free shuttle into town at 10:30 pm.  Yep crazy.  But it was fun we saw Caesars Palace...

And the Billagio Fountains and gardens.

Next day hanging at the pool!

M & M World!!!!!

The boys found Bumble Bee!

Happy 4th of July (at the Venetian)

We took at day trip over to St. George UT (to check it out for Tim's parents) and had lunch at the Cracker Barrel with a few games of checkers!  Always a fun place to eat!

Red Rock Mountains surrounding St. George.

Who knew that a paper hat turned upside down from In and Out Burger and a big blue plastic dice would teach math.  Nixon has done it everyday.  He made up a game that we predict what number we are going to roll and if we are going to add or subtract. So whatever number he rolls he adds or subtracts from the one he guessed.  He has been doing great!

Night time swim

The Boys also found Sponge Bob....

and Pikichu
Well that's all for now from Las Vegas.  Tomorrow or I should say later today since it's 1:16am we head to the Grand Canyon!  I will post more once I have internet again along the way!
