Christmas 2015

Grandma and Grandpa got here safe and sound! We have enjoyed the days leading up to Christmas and Christmas!

Grandpa teaching Paige how to cook steaks in the oven.

Nixon every night asks Grandpa to tell him stories from his childhood and Grandpa indulges him :)

Christmas Eve and ready for church

Opening our Christmas Eve Family box loaded with new Pjs, mugs and hot cocoa, marshmallows, popcorn and the movie Elf.

New Pjs and ready for movie time!

Nixon also got a robe and slippers which he has wanted for a long time and was very excited to receive.

Simon read the book for tonight, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, that was given to us 15 years ago by their Great Grandma, Gaga.

Leaving milk and cookies for Santa

Sleepover in sister's room for Christmas Eve! What a good sister!

After the kids were in bed Grandpa hid pickle ornaments in the tree that he got everyone.

Christmas Morning!
Santa has been here!

Stockings Time!

She was letting him know he was too close to her side LOL!

Santa Gift Time!

We paused for breakfast! Cinnamon rolls and sausage!

Presents Time!

He tends to take electrical things apart so we got him an electrical kit so he can connect the wires and make circuits and stuff (safely lol as opposed to taking apart alarm clocks or old toys)

So this next set of pictures I had to include all because Simon's reaction was the best to it and made Grandma and I cry. We got an Xbox One and some games for us all as a family gift and "forgot to put it under the tree." So we brought it out after we were done opening gifts. We thought as soon as they saw the sizes of boxes they would know right away but Simon had no clue til after he opened it. He has wanted this since it came out 2 years ago and we have always said no we are fine with the old 360 we have.
We put the console and the games each wrapped inside a big wrapped box so he reached in and pulled this out and still had no clue!
He was absolutely shocked and turned to his Dad in disbelief!

He was so overwhelmed!
It really was a highlight and so fun to see his reaction, not to mention the others were happy too!

I love watching them have a relaxing time playing with their toys Christmas Day.

Even Tucker enjoyed the aftermath! Piper kept chasing her tail in a big pile of wrapping paper but I didn't get a picture. It was hilarious she just couldn't catch it!

Christmas Dinner

Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year too!
