Opening Day Seattle Mariners 2016
Thank goodness Chex mix can be made gluten free!! On a side note some awesome news, we determined Nixon is not lactose intolerant just gluten is the issue! So our options have now opened up and he can have cheese again!
Paige and Tim ran the Emerald Isle Half Marathon! I am so proud of them they beat their goal time by about 15 mins! 13.1 Miles, Boom! :)
The boys and I had a couple hours to hang out so we found some cool trees to climb for a bit and then they had a dj and stuff going on to entertain those waiting for their runners.
To my surprise Paige beat her Dad!! She rounded the corner with the biggest smile on her face! It was awesome, makes me tear up thinking about it. She ran it in 2:28
Then Tim rounded the corner. He looked great too! All their hard work and training paid off and they both felt and looked good. Tim ran it in 2:29
Next up...Simon joined Track! So proud of how he has tried new things this year.
He won the long hair battle and it does look good on him, I must admit.
Next up... Nixon turned 10!! I still can't believe all my kids are now in double digits.
We gave Nixon a Ukulele and he is really enjoying it. His music teacher at school has been teaching them.
He was very excited to get a circuits kit. He really wants to learn circuits and all that kind of stuff.
And we ended the day with ice cream because now he can have it! :)
