We spent Spring break in Tennessee house hunting for the week. Tim also went in and met his new office. He works right across the street from the big pyramid!
That big pyramid!
What is that big pyramid you ask? Why it's the biggest Bass Pro Shop. Score for Tim lol! We hung out there while Tim went to his office.
And after touring 20 homes and starting to feel the stress of it being the end of the week and not finding the right house and thinking we were going to have to just settle for one we found our house!! Within a half hour of us putting in our offer and going back and forth a bit the offer was accepted and we got them down into our budget! So we are buying a house! We will be living in Atoka TN. Tim will have a 45 min. Commute to his office on the west side of Memphis. We will be in a tiny country town but luckily we can get to a mall and shopping area 30 mins from our house to the east side of Memphis!
Look what we found about an hour and a half from Memphis! Oh yeah! If we can't get to the big leagues at least we can get to the minors!!
So what happens when you move around a lot and you land in North Carolina when your son is 8-10 years old? He drops the Seahawks and decides he is a panther fan. Oh it is so hard to let your kids grow up and make their own choices lol! Seriously family don't judge him it's not his fault! Part of it is he has fun getting Dad and Simon's goat. Hoping he will come back lol. We did draw the line at the Mariners though. Sorry buddy won't let you switch on that one!
Look who is old enough to learn to mow the lawn! 3 men to mow the lawn now, there shall be no excuse for tall grass lol!
I love getting dressed up for a night with Tim!
This time we had good friends there. Both couples are from our small group. The couple on the right, he just made Chief so we were there to support him. The couple in the middle they invited as their guests (she is actually our loan officer for buying our house). It was a nice night. The kids were out catching fireflies in the back yard at night. We have a lot this year. They are so cool!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day! We went to church and then to the play My Fair Lady. Tim and the kids gave me the best gift ever which I will always cherish! Click this link to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U_wi76DQJE
