End of Summer 2017

This is a bit late we have already been back to school for 3 weeks.  But, here are the pictures from the end of summer break!

We went to the Pink Palace Museum. Unfortunately, the Mansion part was under construction so we didn't get into that part. The museum part was cool though!

This was with the youth group from church.  We went to this pool once last summer but it was with another church, not the one we "landed" at here.  Really neat pool run by a wonderful Christian Family.

Paige was at work when we did the cake but I snapped a pic of Dad and Daughter when she got home!

Simon and I met Tim for lunch at the Arcade which was one of Elvis's favorite places and where he got his favorite sandwich and had his own booth.

This handsome dude got glasses!  Should give him relief from headaches!

Happy Coast Guard Day.  Aug. 4th.  They arranged a fun day at the Main Event again this year for food, games, and fun!

End of Band Camp!  Simon did great and put A LOT of hard work in.  We are proud of him.  He got a spot in the show and was the only Freshman Trumpet to make it in the show and not be an alternate.  He also is the only Freshman in the whole band to not have a shadow. A shadow is basically an alternate that can be swapped out for you at any time.

That wraps up Summer!  I will post the beginning of school soon!  Hope you all had a great summer and for those still on break, enjoy it while you can!!
