This year for Thanksgiving we hopped in the car and went and spent it with Paige in Memphis!  It took us 14 hours straight to go down and 13 on the way back.  Boy was that a long time in the car!!  But, Paige is very worth it!  We had a blast getting to stay in her 1 bedroom apartment with her for a few days.  She moved in there in September. It fit our family of 5 just fine.  She has a queen size futon for a couch so we slept on that and brought a couple twin air mattresses for the boys and since she doesn't have a dining room table there was plenty of room!  We did get to visit with Josh, her boyfriend too but somehow I don't have any pictures with him in them.  Sorry, Josh!!

Tim and I decorated her place for Christmas for her one day while she was at work. 
She did a great job setting up her first apartment.  She got all her own kitchenware, supplies and furniture.  This picture reminded me I love the coffee mugs she got!  I am proud Mama!!

Before we left to go down and see her Tim picked out a little Christmas Tree to take to her place for her.  It was so sweet to see him so excited to put it up for her and surprise her.

Santa also filled her stocking before we left and left more gifts under the tree (after this photo was taken).

We had such a great time visiting her.  We sooooooo don't like her being so far away.  But, are soooooooo proud of her and all that she is doing!  All on her own too.  Paige, you are a trooper, hard worker and dedicated.  We love you!

Tim planned a one-day bus trip up to New York City for us.  It was so much fun.  We have never been to NYC.  We caught the bus at 5am and were there by 9:30ish walked around all day got back on the bus at 5pm and were back down to our area about 10pm.

We didn't get a family pic on new years eve. Poor Tim had the flu and fell asleep before midnight.  The boys and I did ring int he new year with glasses of Sparkling Cider though!
