End of school begining of Summer 2011

Miss Paige is done with Elementary School and is now off to Middle School!

Fifth Grade Ceremony

Ummm yes she is almost as tall as me!

Camping with Grandpa Joe Time!!

We went to Lodgepole with Grandpa Joe to our favorite spot. We have to go over Chinook Pass to get there (the shortest way) and they opened it the morning we were going!

Oh boy we were thinking as we drove over the pass. Our camp spot is only 7 miles maybe from here. Might be a cold trip! However, it drops enough in elevation there wasn't any snow and it was great during the day. Tad cold at night but nothing lots of clothes and blankets couldn't take care of!

And a nice campfire!

Angie and Her Dad

Tim got to throw the line in a few times!

Grandpa Joe and the boys hiked up and over the river to the other side!

Finishing setting up camp after Grandpa Joe arrived.

Remember good ol' Jiffy Pop!

Anything Grandpa Joe did Nixon did too. From sawing wood, to sweeping up, to hiking to even walking to the out house!

Paige actually cut up a good amount of wood for us over the weekend! Thank you Paige for your hard work!

Time to roast marshmallows!

I turned our razor scooter into a way to carry wood. My Dad thought I was going to hurt myself and loose balance but I did it and got it all the way to the campsite without it or me falling!

The cook at work. Breakfast for Champions!

Our annual last picture as we leave the site!

More Summer fun....

Paige took a 4 day tennis camp to learn how to use the racket she got for her birthday. She really enjoyed it!

Finally we got to take in a Mariners Game! We got to go to a game for free this year because a vendor stole our credit card at the end of last season. The Mariners organization dealt with it right away and took good care of us.

They gave us awesome seats. We have never sat that close before. Row 14 along the first base line just behind home plate. The kids enjoyed being that close to the players.

Happy 4th of July!! We watched fireworks from our roof. We actually had a good view of two different cities fireworks. We are leaving for Maui tomorrow and didn't feel like fighting any crowds to see fireworks so the roof worked for us! Now to put kids to bed and finish packing!
