Good Times, Sad Times, and Hard Times

We are very excited and happy that Paige and Mina have moved back home with us! This was Paige's plan for after graduation once she got everything in order to move.

It is with a sad and heavy heart to say we had to put our sweet sweet Tucker down the first week of March.  We noticed all of a sudden his eyes stayed very dilated and glossed over.  Then he started getting stuck everywhere and only walking along the walls of the room.  After a couple trips to the vet, it was determined it was most likely a brain tumor that nothing could be done for it. He started to not be able to eat. We had to make the tough decision and Tim was out of town for work. Paige and Simon went with me.

We had a well-timed spring break trip planned which was much appreciated after the loss of Tucker. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains in TN and checked out Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.

Every time we sat at the table Paige would pound her fists and say she was calling this board meeting! Haha

This ended up being our favorite spot. We actually went to all 3 Ole Smoky locations. This guy was great.

It's fun having an adult daughter who can do tastings with you!
It looks like we are sitting at the counter but we are standing. We are just that much shorter than everyone else Haha!

We did the Titanic Experience. It was very cool.

We were so excited to get to go to another Pirate Voyage location.

Paige was hilarious. Tim said she had the biggest smile the whole time and her arm on the edge as if she was really just cruising in an old car. Probably the only time I feel safe with her driving haha!

We toured the Bush's Bean visitor center.

Went on a hike in the smoky mountains to a waterfall.

The views were incredible.

Time for some mini-golf! This was in town not at the resort.

It's Tim's turn for surgery.  He had a total ankle joint replacement. Yes, they do those.

Lookin good out of surgery but wait til those pain meds ware off!

Tired of being there and waiting to go home.

At least he too has good TV to watch.
