Out and about in DC

Nixon getting ready to go to Homecoming with a friend. And here he thought he wouldn't step foot back in that school LOL.

Off they go!

We put up our Christmas tree on October 12th. Hear me out!! We have a few reasons why so early.
1. Tim is having surgery again on his ankle (and also his foot this time). Unfortunately, they have to go back in and clean some stuff up causing issues.
2. Angela is also having surgery in November so she won't be able to lift anything for 6 weeks.
3. Getting Lemon used to it early before we decorate it in case she goes full kitten mode LOL.
4. We just love Christmas!

Lemon's first fireplace season! She does things all the time that remind us of Tucker. Loving the fireplace is now one of them.

Kittens grow too fast! Also, this is another Tucker thing she does. She is very proper with her tail. She always has it curled around her, he did that too.

Poor Tim he has a ton of hardware now.

Happy Halloween this is what's for dinner!

We sat in the driveway with the fire pit and handed out candy!

Paige got ahold of the kitties for Halloween LOL.

Not even Piper was safe!

Mina still stealing our waters and about to knock this one over it appears.

Lemon and Nixon are two peas in a pod. She is happy as can be riding around in his hood.

I (Angela) am Lemon's chew toy. This is our relationship. She goes for blood too! We were warned that torties can be feisty and she is with me. She bites Paige too. But she will also sleep on our laps.

Decorating for Christmas!

Got the outside lights done. With Tim and I taking turns having surgeries all the time lately, Paige decided nobody needs to climb crazy tall ladders anymore. She put the lights on the inside of the windows for us. Thank you, Paige!

Just like Tucker, she will sit too long in front of the fire. However she melts, we call it, off the pillow slowly just creeping off a bit at a time.

These two! She just rides around on his head.

So far so good with the tree.

This is my garland-free mantle for this year. Lemon would most likely pull a garland down if it hung over the edge so this is it for this year.

I got crafty this year and made wreaths for the cupboards!

I love Christmas decorations. I wish I could leave them up all year!

Lemon does chew on the stair garland. She has a favorite spot and will run up as fast as she can knowing I am after her.

Happy Thanksgiving. Simon was at his girlfriend's so wasn't home this year.

We went to the 2nd annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Stafford. We really enjoyed it and felt like we were in a Hallmark movie! This was our first time going and very glad the city started this.
